After reviewing numerous online videos of fun and adventure, I decided the Roofnest Sparrow would be my gateway to camping fun. After months of debate, I took the plunge and placed my order. My brand new unit arrived November 2020. You cannot begin to imagine the disappointment these past months as I received instruction after instruction on how to repair numerous factory defects only to be informed Roofnest reps determined the unit is not repairable. I wish I had never purchased the tent.
As a senior citizen, I have hired young men twice to assist in placing and removing the unit in order to follow the company instructions to repair the unit myself. Having done this three times now, I have been informed the defects are too great and the unit must be sold on Craigslist before I can be reimbursed some or all (this has not been stated yet) of the purchase price.
I am 71 years old, have limited income, must hire assistance with the unit, and at this time, unsure how to proceed. I have no confidence in this product or the support, as demonstrated to date. But as I figure out what to do now, please consider a note advising buyers what to anticipate should they also receive defective equipment. I cannot say how frequent this occurs, but at this time, I am not the only customer currently dealing with a defective unit.
    Wish me luck. Best wishes.
